Welcome to Roscoe Grill

Here is the deal with the 3 S's and 1 P from the description above.

S-1 Seafood

S-2 Salad

S-3 Steak

P-1 Pasta

Logic and Catnip enjoy steak with pasta though we do not eat fish we will be unable to voice our opinion on the fish thing but none the less here goes the story of this small intimate fine dining restaurant a grill in South Palm Springs that means it is south out of the downtown more like a locals type of restaurant meaning you are sure to find fine ding here with exhalant service.

LET's start with some wine shall we?

They have plenty of wine by the glass and other wines by the bottle not the largest selection we have ever enjoyed but plenty to make for a great meal.

Note they have a full bar to serve you up w00t

including a happy hour and fun bar area only foods to enjoy if you are not into the whole restaurant sit down thing.

Appetizers they call Starters

Coconut Shrimp, Shrimp Cocktail, Crab Cakes or Calamari and what is with all of the restaurants serving calamari anyways?

We like the unique Szechuan Beans

Before you say what the hell is this dish it is made up of green beans wok fried with garlic, ginger, pepper and soy sauce really sounds great to us.

Salads both big and bigger

5 small various salads and 6 large various salads they look enjoyable the big ones even as a meal.

It is dinner time

Here is the deal it is all items sold separately so they offer 5 various steaks and a Kobe Burger, really a good selection to cover any meat lovers pallet and there are 10 side dishes you can purchase with your meal they are each reasonable.

They offer Fish & Chips for the English we think w00t

and 8 other fish dishes even fish tacos, lobster mac and cheese (trendy) but they have some exciting fish dishes as well and in case you do not eat fish or steak do not fret they have chicken 3 dishes even a Kobe Burger, meatloaf or pork Loin Medallions.

By the way when we explain that Roscoe Grill is in south Palm Springs on South Palm Canyon Drive the main street through Palm Springs.

That Roscoe Grill is not located in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, what we mean is that Roscoe Grill is located about 2 blocks south from the main downtown area of Palm Springs.

It is to the south just 1 block south of the Palm Canyon Road House the Palm Springs Biker Bar Logic hangs out with friends at and both restaurants and bars are located on the west side of the street the San Jacinto Mountain Range side of the street.

Small bar and just a handful of well decorated tables with white table cloths it is intimate, warm and cozy.

Logic has just heard that Roscoe's Grill in the south end of Palm Springs on Palm Canyon Drive has dicided to close their doors.

They the operators, say it is due to the landlord and rent prices, either way Logic never got to enjoy Roscoe's Grill but we only heard great things about this fine restaurant.

We are sorry to see them go.

Hello LOGIC & my fellow PSview.com'ers...

That is the same old story that has claimed my businesses, especially restaurants in Palm Springs...THE RENT is TOO DARN HIGH!!! We hope one day the Powers that be get a real clue. I love making money...but not at the expense of everyone running out of business.

Wow though Logic does not know this restaurant operator or the landlord Roscoe Grill is still open, this might mean the operator received money to keep going or the rent was lowered to keep them there at the south Palm Canyon Drive location.

Come or go there are near 1000 restaurants in the Coachella Valley they all serve the same purpose to feed you and so it comes down to where you like to enjoy your food and the price and little things like that, so explore try and enjoy in the end it is food, Palm Springs and all of our 9 cities are actually about the weather and yes being in the pool.

Logic has not eaten at Roscue because of the location it is not a relaxing location to enjoy any views or any way to reduce the traffic noise at it speeds by on Palm Canyon Drive.

Great food in a small package is offered on South Palm Canyon Drive featuring a small bar area about enough indoor seating for 12 or so and and around 4 outdoor tables and chairs for 2 persons.

I remember when this place was going to close now it is a locals favorite with a great happy hour and discounts a non king can afford.

Roscoe Grill has a deal:

$2.50 and $4.00 dollar drinks even a $5.00 dollar happy hour menu enough for locals and visitors to enjoy a taste of some really good eats while getting your drink on.
