Four juvenile robbery suspects caught after a vehicle pursuit that ended in a traffic collision Saturday have been confirmed as the same suspects involved in last week's robbery spree, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
As reported on thedesertsun.com, police responded to a string of parking lot robberies Wednesday night in Palm Springs with at least one robbery reported in Cathedral City.
Days later, police were still searching for the suspects - one of them armed with a knife that he used during the robberies.
On Saturday, however, when the suspects led police on a pursuit through the city in a stolen gray sedan, they were arrested on suspicion of robbery and evading police, officials said.
The crash also resulted in two Wrightwood residents, who were hit by the gray sedan driven by the suspects, being sent to the hospital for minor injuries, as reported in The Desert Sun.
All four suspects are juveniles and were sent to juvenile hall.
My boyfriend is suffering only from severe bruising and a hurt shoulder. He will have more tests done soon. My daughter is now suffering from "I miss my mommy" syndrome because she returned to her house (off campus) Monday evening.
I will be shopping this weekend for a new car. I will get another NISSAN ALTIMA or perhaps the Maxima.
After seeing the deployed airbags and where his head "would have" gone through the window....how well that car actually held up after being hit at a standstill about 80 mph.....well, I certanly trust the NISSAN now!
Thank you all who read this and hold my family in your good thoughts!

Very sorry to hear that your daughter & boyfriend were in an accident. I am glad they weren't' hurt to bad. We will put them & you in our prayers. We had something like that in Yakima this year. A guy with a know record was driving a stolen vehicle and was being pursued by police. He was speeding up to 90MPH through town, with the police following in the back distance. He ran a stop sign and killed 2 people in the other car.
In Washington State, you get a slap on the hand for steeling a car. Our local, Freshman State Rep.. Charles Ross(R) tried his hardest with testimony from the family, Chief of Police, our Mayor, and a few other people to change the laws to get tough on the crime. But it never got out of the Democratic run State Senate's committee. Eastside vs. Westside Washington is difference between night & day. Eastside is more conservativee & West is more liberal. Putting people in jail for committing crimes, to most in the westside is a violation of their rights. Not good eh... They will try again next year in our next session. Enough of the soapbox... Tell your daughter & boyfriend to hang in there...

So glad things did not turn out worse than they did. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and the family.

I know that it could have been worse. I am so happy they are allright! I understand the 4 kids who stole the car went to court yesterday. The police have been great on keeping me informed. Also, State Farm has been great! The uninsured motorist portion of my policy will be covering us. They have waived my deductible and are offering pain and suffering too. I am so happy how they are handling this claim. See, I could pick it apart big time (being an Insurance Agent myself) but don't have to. They are doing a great job!
(Little secret to my PS friends.......I am an Agent for Allstate but my cars are insured with State Farm...no wondering why okay )
Glad to hear that your family will be alright. Last year I decided to trade in my eleven year old Chevy Cavalier for a 2006 Honda Civic. There are times when I take my two grandchildren with me in the car and I wanted a safer car to transport them in. Hearing your story reminds me that I made the right decision. Thank you for sharing your story.
